Privacy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

This is the privacy policy for yourloadout.com, operated by MOVS LLC, a California company. Short version: we collect what it takes to ship products and run subscriptions, we name everyone who touches your data, and we do not sell it.

01 / What we collect

Order information — your name, shipping address, the products you bought, and order totals. Your email address, for account login and transactional email. Attribution cookies, if you arrived through a referral or affiliate link. During early access, we may also collect your email, optional phone number, selected skin lane, referral or campaign source, and the explicit prelaunch actions described below.

If a founder offer is enabled, we also collect the experiment group, offer steps you deliberately complete, the exact consent disclosure shown to you, confirmation and delivery status, and whether you qualified for 10% or 20%. A mobile number is used for marketing only after separate consent and confirmation.

If you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics collects aggregate website-use information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring source, campaign parameters, and engagement events. We do not send your early-access email or optional phone number to Google Analytics.

Card numbers go directly to Stripe. We never see or store full payment card details.

02 / Why we collect it

To fulfill orders, run your subscription, sign you in, send order confirmations and shipping updates, credit referrals and affiliates correctly, measure prelaunch demand, and meet tax and legal obligations. We do not create advertising profiles or run cross-site behavioral tracking.

The base prelaunch demand test records only three actions you deliberately take: choosing a lane, adding the displayed system to the prelaunch bag, and viewing that bag. We store the lane, displayed test price, campaign attribution, and a random session identifier so those actions can be connected to an early-access signup. We do not collect payment through that test.

Optional Google Analytics data helps us understand acquisition, navigation, and engagement. Advertising storage, Google signals, and advertising personalization are disabled.

If the founder-offer experiment is enabled, we additionally record the assigned experience and deliberate offer steps such as opening or dismissing the offer, submitting an email, confirming email, choosing optional text access, confirming a mobile number, or revoking text consent. This keeps discounted demand separate from the undiscounted demand test and preserves proof of your communication choices.

03 / Who processes it

Named plainly, because you should not have to guess:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Neon — database hosting where order and account records live.
  • Google Analytics — optional aggregate website analytics after you accept optional cookies.

Each processes data on our behalf, under contract, for the purposes above. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

No SMS processor is active today. We will name the selected SMS provider here and in the signup disclosure before collecting or sending promotional text messages.

04 / No sale of personal information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done either in the preceding 12 months. There is no opt-out to file because there is nothing to opt out of — but the right is yours regardless, and it is listed below.

05 / Cookies

Each cookie has a defined job.

Cookies set by yourloadout.com
CookieClassPurposeLifespan
lo_sessionEssentialKeeps you signed in to your account.30 days
lo_refAttributionRecords which customer referred you, so both sides get credit.30 days
lo_affAttributionRecords which affiliate sent you, so they get paid.45 days
lo_consentPreferenceStores your cookie choice so the banner stays gone.12 months
lo_founder_offerEssentialReconnects a confirmed founder offer to its optional phone-verification step.30 days
lo_admin_sessionEssentialSecures the private, read-only operations dashboard for an authorized administrator.12 hours
_gaAnalytics — optionalDistinguishes browsers for aggregate Google Analytics reporting after consent.Up to 2 years
_ga_*Analytics — optionalMaintains Google Analytics session state after consent.Up to 2 years

The consent banner controls attribution and Google Analytics cookies. Choose essential only and the Google tag does not load; referral and affiliate links also stop setting attribution cookies. To reset a previous choice, clear the site cookies and choose again. The site works either way.

The prelaunch demand test uses browser session storage, not a cookie, for a random identifier named loadout_prelaunch_intent_session. It lasts only for the current browser tab and is created after you take an explicit demand-test action.

Administrator sign-in stores a salted password hash rather than the password itself. Failed-attempt controls use a one-way hash of the network address and retain no raw address in that record.

06 / California rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the following, and we honor all of them:

  • Right to know — what personal information we have collected about you, and how it is used.
  • Right to delete — we erase your personal information, except records the law requires us to keep (e.g. completed transactions).
  • Right to correct — inaccurate information gets fixed.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — noted above: we do neither.
  • Right to non-discrimination — exercising any of these changes nothing about your price or service.

To exercise a right, email support@yourloadout.com from the address on your account — that is how we verify it is you. An authorized agent may submit on your behalf with written permission. We respond within 45 days.

07 / Do Not Track

Some browsers send Do Not Track signals. There is no settled standard for honoring them, so this site does not respond to DNT. The cookie banner is the control that works, and we do not run cross-site tracking in the first place.

08 / Under 16

This store is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of minors — see section 04: we sell no one's.

09 / Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes get an email. Questions: support@yourloadout.com. MOVS LLC, California.
